Databricks AI/BI merges dashboards and conversational querying into a single product inside the Databricks workspace. The BI layer covers standard charts and reports, while the Genie component handles natural language questions over Delta Lake data. Governance is handled through Unity Catalog, which controls what data Genie and dashboards can access. There is no standalone evaluation workflow for AI answer accuracy. Like Genie, it is only available to Databricks customers and is priced as part of an enterprise contract.
